Q: How do I know if what I have is worth anything?

Q:What if I have a piece with a very minor imperfection?

A: Damaged pieces have no value, even something as minor as a chip, scratch or crack.

Q: What if I only have just one piece, like a glass, a platter, or a spoon?

A: No problem. One-offs are accepted.

Q: What if I have something that’s not on the Brands We Love list?

A: Please don’t hesitate to email us if you have a specific question about an item.

Q: Must silverware be polished before submission?

A: No, cleaning silver and silver plated is not necessary.

Q: What if I have something that doesn’t have a brand marking on it?

A: Please don’t hesitate to email us if you have a specific question about an item. 

Q: Is there any additional value if I have the original boxes for the collectibles?

A: Yes, if the box is in good condition.

Q: What’s the best way to pack up my items?

A: Wrap your clean pieces (no tape, please) and carefully pack in boxes no larger than 20”L x 17”W x 9”H.

Q: What happens to the things Finest Finds doesn’t want? 

A: Any items we choose not to purchase must be taken back by the seller at the end of the evaluation.

Q: Suppose I don’t want the rejected items back—what happens then?

A: Finest Finds will donate unwanted items. 

Q: When will I get paid for the items you want?

A: Items are researched and valued while you wait. You will be paid right away for the pieces we  buy.
